How come Tampines Ave 2 is in between Ave 7 and Loyang Ave? Yishun Ave 5 and Ave 7 are not connected together.

xin1jun2 SG

hmmm i did changes to 859 in 2002. here is the ZYX859 current route

CHANGI VILLAGE - Sembawang close (loop)
via Chnagi village ter, Svc 29 route till Loyang ave, Pasir ris Dr 4, Central, Dr 1, Dr 12, TPE (express), Jln Kayu 9seletar camp bus stop), TPE, Lentor ave, Yishun ave 2, connect to current TIB859 route and loop in Sembang no town with no changes whatsover.

so basically its an extension from Yishun int to changi vilalge. it also supplements svc 29 proving the chalet ppl with a nicer link to the MRt namely at PSR instead of bumping on 29 thru tampines to the MRT.

ZYX50: HOUGANG SOUTH - BT MERAH INT

via: Hougang ave 3, Jln eunos / Eunos link, Chnagi road, Geylang road, guillemard road, Nicoll highway (express), suntec city bus stop - Counought drive, Collyer quay there, Shenton way, Cross street, North bridge road, outrma road, tiong bahru road, Redhill st, rd, Jln Bt merah

and reutnr via ah u knwo lah

wiht this ZYX50

ZYX51 wil amend to no longer make a big loop along HG st 21 and proceed like SBSt51 to HG central.

all this takes effect on 1 Apr 2004

You mean Pasir Ris Drive 3? There is no link between Loyang Avenue and Pasir Ris Drive 4 and also Pasir Ris Drive 4 and Pasir Ris Central. Smile

service_238 SG

ZYX859 = SBST29 + SBST89 + SBST39 + TIBS859. lolz...

I would like to have more expressway services such as 858 and 969, so that we can reach our destination directly, just like taking a taxi….....only that we stop at interchanges…....maybe we can have 979….....plying from Yishun to Pasir Ris, via SLE, TPE and PIE.

freakybuses SG

There is already svc 39 plying between Yishun, Pasir Ris and Tampines on SLE and TPE...

xin1jun2 SG

er haha one of my usual typos again. yes it is PSR dr 3

ZYXbus

xin1jun2 SG

lolz...yah....

TVaddict SG

freakybuses SG

must well Pasir Ris Int to AMK int via PSR Dr3/1 - TPE - Jln Kayu - YCK Rd - AMK Ave 6 - AMK Ave 8. Mr. Green

service_238 SG

Sounds like SBST86 extended to Pasir Ris, skipping Sengkang. Razz Laughing

Take Sv. 10 from C'menti and then transfer to the HBF shuttle.

leeJZ SG

From Clementi?? And this is from the east...not the west...

leeJZ SG

I think Tampines needs a good connection to Bukit Timah/Dunearn...Sv 67 is too slow

TAMPINES - BUKIT TIMAH PLAZA (Loop)
Tampines Interchange - Tampines Ave 5 - Tampines Ave 1 - Bedok Reservoir Rd - Bedok North Rd - PIE - Whitley Rd - Bukit Timah Rd - Dunearn Rd - Whitley Rd - PIE - Bedok North Rd - Bedok Reservoir Rd - Tampines Ave 1 - Tampines Ave 5 - Tampines Interchange

freakybuses SG

Too long to be a loop svc... make it terminate at Boon Lay/Jurong East

leeJZ SG

It is? Didn't Sv 858 once loop at Changi Airport?

service_238 SG

CBS20 fulfills this requirement. ...TAM Ave 7/4/5/1, BDK Nth Rd, PIE, Lor 6 TPY, Jln TPY, Whitley Rd, PIE, Adam Rd, Bt Timah/Dunearn Rd, Sixth Ave... bla bla bla...

freakybuses SG

858 does stop for a few mins so that the driver takes a toilet break

leeJZ SG

How about Sv 51 & 61 drivers? I dont think my proposed route is longer than 2 hrs it take for drivers of the above two services to complete their routes?
