How come Tampines Ave 2 is in between Ave 7 and Loyang Ave? Yishun Ave 5 and Ave 7 are not connected together.

Yusry SG

The one that plied Beach Road was 120.

122 went via Bencoolen, North Bridge Road, River Valley, Alexandra.

leeJZ SG

If you do a detour you can provide more links to other places like Holland Village or Holland Estate (HDB flats there, mostly older ones)

However, the aim of my service to provide a direct link to places further than Queenstown MRT, if you terminate at Buona Vista or Ghim Moh, the benefits to Whampoa residents would not be too much.

ipodee SG

120 originally looped at shenton way then cut to beach road before being terminated

ipodee SG

i used to be a whampoa resident. most people would take 186 to queenstown mrt then change to mrt if they wanted to go west... it's only 40-45min journey

Hallo... I'm kinda pissed off that there's no straight bus goin to town area from Woodlands. Imagine taking 961 from Woodlands to City Hall! Your butt will sweat man Mr. Green And some more 960 only pass thru sungei road and bugis only. To go back to Woodlands from town, u have to compete with ppl from Bishan, Toa Payoh and so on to get a place in the train. And now i wanna propose a no-nonsense bus service connecting Woodlands - Old Marsiling Est - City hall -Suntec city - Marine Parade and vice versa. And also to compete with 966. Hopefully, the bus service will be the same company as 161 and 168.. Very Happy I call it CBST 71. Here goes.

Woodlands Square - Woodlands Ave 5 - Marsiling Rise - Marsiling Rd - Marsiling Drive - Admiralty Rd - Woodlands Centre Rd - express thru BKE, PIE, Whitley Rd and Dunearn Rd - Bt Timah Rd - Bencoolen St - Bras Basah Rd - Raffles Boulevard - Temasek Boulevard - Temasek Avenue - express thru Raffles Boulevard, Republic Boulevard, ECP, Mountbatten Rd and Amber Rd and terminate at Marine Parade Rd (opp Parkway Parade).

Return via Marine Parade Rd, Express thru Amber Rd, Mountbatten Rd, ECP - Temasek Boulevard - Raffles Boulevard - Temasek Avenue - Raffles Avenue - Stamford Rd - Prinsep St - Selegie Rd - Bt Timah Rd - Express thru Bt Timah Rd, Whitley Rd, PIE, BKE - Woodlands Rd - Woodlands Centre Rd - Admiralty Rd - Marsiling Dr - Marsiling Rd - Marsiling Rise - Woodlands Ave 5 and Woodlands Square.

How abt that? Wink It will be a cash cow during peak hours...

I haven't. I'd like to feedback SBS about 36/123 and 23/111 first (refer to earlier posts).

NEL Fallout: Increased duplication along the routes of 77, 106, 174.
Loss of Beach Rd svcs (we've already lost 20, 50, 209 & what else).
Exp 502 becomes somewhat meaningless (it doesn't use the e'way anymore).

Why won't you terminate CBS30 to Buona Vista? Via the following route:

..Alexandra Road (Alexandra Hospital), Alexandra Road (Ikea), COmmowealth Ave (Queenstown MRT), Queensway, Holland Road, Holland Ave, Holland Drive, Buona Vista Terminal

It's a big loop if you terminate at Bukit Merah.

service_238 SG

I wanted the link between Alexandra Rd (between telok blangah rd and AYE) to bt merah. however, the service will be reviewed soon after it starts service tml... Mr. Green

WrootPlans Corp recommends the following service be enacted -

Service 137 between Jurong East & Changi Airport

Full route details available at http://www.geocities.com/leejz88/sv71.doc

Service 137 will offer the following advantages:

Offering Bishan residents a fast connection to the west, one it currently lacks.
Offering Toa Payoh residents another alternative to the west.
Re-enacting the long yearned Toa Payoh - Changi Airport express sector.
Connecting Jurong East residents to Changi Airport
Providing another alternative for Clementi - Jurong East traffic
Stealing more Toa Payoh - Jurong East traffic from Sv 985

A total revamp of WrootPlans Corp's old route recommendations will be conducted and they will be tweaked where deemed appropriate. They will be posted later.
