How come Tampines Ave 2 is in between Ave 7 and Loyang Ave? Yishun Ave 5 and Ave 7 are not connected together.

SBS9818A SG

Eh isn't CityTrans run by user Scania? Don't merge, it'd make a hugh mess.

freakybuses SG

You mean scania used it before? Anyway, I did not refer to earlier notes. Mine is SCT ... Singapore CityTrans.

aniwae i thought if the whole Bt Merah Interchange shift to Redhill MRT, wouldn't that be good?

This student service serves a total of 9 Schools. Also pass through mosque. Why? On fridays, Muslim Pupils will go for their Friday Prayers. So, this bus stops at Al-Khair Mosque Very Happy Make life easy for the pupils, increase business @ mosque. This service should operate whole day to benefit all pupils. Diff schools come out at diff times.

What is your view on this GREAT service. Should I suggest to TIBS?

service_238 SG

Good Route. However, one thing to take note is the student catchment area of each school. Linking the schools is not enough. What matters most is that the students have a direct bus home Smile

CCK Drive plys in both directions? How about using CCK Way? Relatively ok route as it connects CCK North to Bt Batok North. As for the rest of the route, it's still managable.

Regarding Teck Why Crescent, the reason why buses do not go in that road is because of cars to the 5 schools in the morning. Its damn jammed up as it is already Wink That's why TIBS have their services call at Teck Whye Ave

cck_190 SG

CCK Drive & CCK Way is 2-directional.

btw,' every morning, I see that Teck Whye Crescent is managable. 1 reason for not having buses ply there is because of the size. The road is quite small.

Because of problems travelling in Teck Whye Crescent,Svc 978 will now ply Teck Whye Ave. With full bendy fleet as to cope with the load of the 11 schools.

Svc 978 should operate from 5.50AM-8PM daily. Operates half-day on weekends: 6.45AM-3.00PM

What are your comments? Should I suggest this route to Tibs?
