Maybe it was just a temporary terminal and It moved to the new terminal when it was completed. I suppose it did use the IN/OUT system as they had a common bus stop slong Jln Bahagia. Also note that all the buses (ie. sv. 120 - 126) went via Jln Kebun Limau.

I said this before.. nvm i say again..

This system is used for St mikes services as they call along jln bahagia twice - once when going out of St mikes area, and once going towards the terminal.

IN means going INTO St Mikes estate
OUT means going OUT OF st mikes estate (going towards Balestier Rd)

This is to differentiate the diff directions the services are going so that pax will not be confused with it. As they live there for vv long, they've grown accusstomed to the system. Smile

You cannot forget Sv. 139 and Sv. 155, both have their destos in different colour schemes for different directions. No in/out card system here, but it's pretty much similar.

What is this ?? The plate number with the destination written on it??

It means the side desto is placed on the front, lower left of the windscreen. It is exactly the same as the side desto. Services 139 and 135 have 2 side desto per bus to indicate the direction.

Correction: should be 139 & 155.

I saw Sv. 135 using them, but I think the practice has ceased. Side desto still retains the colour scheme differences.
