The no. that i take frm sch back home everyday. How you think of this serivce? i think it is incorrigible long waiting times. tsk. what are some of the perm buses on 156?

Controlled by AMDEP. I remember it had SBS 3777L. Perhaps some NAC AMDEP Mk IIs too!

Yes, you are correct. It was controlled by AMDEP as it terminated at Serangoon interchange back then. However, I'm not sure if BBDEP also control this service back then.

NAC Mk2 were on this service when it was converted from FAC to PAC in 1998 or 1999.

Correct. BBDEP did control Sv. 156, and still does. Wonder if the NAC Mk IIs came from both AMDEP and BBDEP.

well i think 156 frequency was Ok. that day i took 156 and was lucky enough to wait only 2 mintues..but on the other hand, i was with darryl once and we waited for the 156 for 16 minutes...

its route goes pass a string of schools. tts prob the reason y its frequency is haphazard esp. during peak hours.

Waiting for 156 at night is a huge pain. Anyway, there’s always an empty 156 that joins in the route midway at SJI bus-stop towards Sengkang every weekday at about 6pm.

There's always a Sv. 156 bus parked outside Bishan Stadium bus stop every evening, for dunno what reason.
