Locations of old bus terminals/interchange

I do not know whether this type of thread have been posted before, so, i start a new one.

For a start, may I know where
=>Yishun Ave 5 Terminal
=>Bukit Batok Terminal
was located?

Yishun Ave 5 Terminal in front of Blk 101/102. 800, 801 served there.
Bukit Batok Terminal in Bukit Batok Ctrl... somewhere at the current West Mall site.

Bt Batok Terminal was located along Bt Batok West Ave 3. It was near the present Bt Batok Polyclinic. There is an HDB Brickworks along BB West Ave 3. On a small road which led into the brickworks, you can see a small cul-de-sac. This was where the buses turn around. Sv. 122 was the first to terminate there in 1985.

Adding on temporary terminals. Jurong East Terminal was located at Jurong East Central outside Blk 102. Tampines Terminal was at Tampines Ave 5 near Blk 147.

This was before 1990/1991 when Tampines West, Tampines N3 N4 N5 weren't ready yet. Only N1 N2 were up and running.

Traces of the terminal can be indicated by the extra long bus bay at Blk 147.

That was way back in 1985, about 20 years ago. Buses which terminated there back then were 10, 23, 28, 31, 292, 293 and 294. Sv. 18 went to Tampines Ave 2, up until Tampines St. 22 only.

Can someone tells more about Chai Chee Ter's history? Is it near the old market/hawker site?
Did any bus service ply Chai Chee St in 2 directions in the past? Unlike now only 1 direction towards ITE. I heard from someone b4 that there is green and white plate too. True?

My 1985 Bus Map showed 10, 23, 28, 31, 292, 293 and 294 operated out of Tampines Terminal.

If I remember correctly, Chai Chee Terminal was situated at the junction of Chai Chee Road and New Upper Changi Road. The place should now be the Chai Chee TechnoPark, previously Singapore Post. Anyone can confirm that?

And about Chai Chee Street, I can only see Service 229 plying that road, the exact route before the old Service 229 was merged with Service 221G/W.

Nope bro, you are wrong. The former Chai Chee Terminal is opposite the place you mentioned. Standing in the area now is Blk 25A and Blk 26, the tall squarish block of flats and Prime Supermarket. In fact, the area around Chai Chee Terminal has been demolished and rebuilt.

As for Chai Chee Street, I do have some faint memories that besides 229 plying 1 way down Chai Chee Street/Drive, there was another bus service going up the opposite direction. I just cannot remember the service.

Yeah, i have been living there since im young. However i can recall sv 229 only. I seriously believe that there is another feeder service heading towards Bedok Centre area, before sv 229 maybe during the late 70s to early 80s.
There seems to be evidence that bus stops do exist on the opposite side. Eg, in front of Blk 53 there seems to be a parking bay for bus stop. However, there is none in front of Blk 50/51. I heard of green/white plates, is it bus service 223? Anyway, there is no right turn from New Upper Changi into Chai Chee Drive. Strange...

Do remember that the "No Right Turn" from New Upper Changi Road into Chai Chee Drive (formerly Street) was implemented after the MRT came into place. Before the MRT, I believe vehicles were allowed to make a right turn.

Isn't that very close to Jurong Town Hall Rd?
