cck_190 SG What do you think about the CAC0405? IMO, I think that: BAD POINTS: >The bus is better NAC >Should be maintained better. It's windows are mouldy.Urgh! >Should be deployed on 175 instead of 307 >The bus is extra noisy because of the overhead aircon thing GOOD POINTS >The aircon very good AT NIGHT/MORNING. >Is unique
BluBlur SG SMRT Bus could have replaced the windows like what SBST did with theirs. The aircon is about the same as the later Habits, super noisy. Don't really differ.
SBS9816E SG IMHO, the TIBS O.405 CAC is still running okie. Though the conversion from NAC To CAC would have some imperfect-ness in it, it could still operate like a normal bus. Look, there's nothing perfect in this world. The airconditioner used by most of the TIBS buses are by Hispacold.
TIB1186Z SG Yah.....Hispacold is quite problematic... I find that most CAC wif Denso are wif AM, while Hispacold are mianly in WL and KJ
xin1jun2 SG i used to open the window if air-con is cold. but now lately enjoy cool air-con and more used to the buses cold air-con. i even rainstorm can adjsut air-con to aim at me =P ZYX <- thick skinned =P
xin1jun2 SG footnotes; even though TIBS is now SMRtbus i will keep using TIBS to refer to the buses and bus plus i am a nostalgic old fool ya? ZYX =P
off_service SG Forgive me for being straight, just stop whining and complaining. Thanks. It seems that your topic lately are of same nature. It would be great if you can classify all of them under one thread instead of opening so many.
TIB744U SG Hey there everyone! Basically... Everyone've got everyone's opinions But mine's like this Hmmm... Yeah, some SMRTB MBO.405 CAC buses' windows were sealed off in a way that it could not be opened. But do try this out, try going to the back of the CAC bus and open the last windows from the two sides, it might work. Me driver friend's bus did work - TIB744U
cck_190 SG Why do you not want it to be deployed on 175? btw, TIB796U aircon thing very very noisy. It produces an ear-piercing sound.
TIB744U SG Hey there cck_190! Well... It shouldnt be like this if the bus aircon's maintained well. Me driver friend's bus aircon doesnt produce ear-piercing noise. Some other MBO.405 OAC buses that I've boarded also produced such ear-piercing noises before.
TIB744U SG Hey there cck_190! Wow... But it seemed to me that those WDLDEP ones've only left 2 windows behind opened... I've tried on several buses and they were the same.
