It's long winded, I'd rather take the train. Anyway with PTC ruling, the service has to go PSR -> highway -> Bukit Batok -> Bukit Panjang.

For 941, I will use G/W plates (I think SMRT will not do it). The rt is like a Green Plate only service.

Yes, it can ply in the other direction too, except I dunno whether the bus can turn right into West Ave 3 from West Ave 8, and again into St 11 from West Ave 3.

Very poor linkage to city other than 190. I mean look at how SMRT deploy bendies on 190, terrible. SBS did better as it was almost ADDs. (By the way, 190 was FAC in 1997/8 during the major PAC - FAC and FAC to PAC rationlisation)

Also what's the frequency of 985? Seeing brunching buses before.

In fact I was looking for a new service to Woodland Centre. It will be called SS7. Is it possible?

I don't know the real reason for the withdrawn. But now there are no links to WDL Ctr from Bt Panjang.

It was withdrawn due to MRT extension to Woodlands. Just take services 187 or 963 to Marsiling MRT and transfer to service 856.

How about this new service -

Choa Chu Kang - HarbourFront via Bukit Panjang/PIE/CTE/City, will go into city instead of Sv 188/176 that only go just outside of the city...

Bukit Panjang - Pasir Ris via Bukit Batok/PIE/Orchard/PIE, will have fast connection between Tampines/Pasir Ris and Orchard...

CCK to HBF proposed rt is too long

BTP to TAM rt is the same and it may not be possible as 23 was shorten before. MRT is faster other wise you have 518.

no it is not possible. SS7 is introduced as the MRT line has not gone there yet. now that it has reached CCK it is better to take MRT now.

for those along teck whye ave wants to go WDL take 187
for those in bt panjang pls take ZYX966 ZYX180 ZYX963 or even ZYX960 if u likes to Woodlands.

please note that from bt pannjang to rochard road u have ZYX171 already.

and from orchard road to tampines u got ZYX23.

but no point lor...its so far and takes too much time by bus. the MRT works well in this case

OK for now i will explain my rationale for service 3 to go punggol. i wanted to link punggol ppl to PSR. but since svc 3 is also ex TL357 then no choice had to wind ard PSR then get to town centre.

there is no current bus from Punggol to chngi village. however there are plans to reroute ZYX850 along the proposed semi expressway 9admilraty?) that will cut through Punggol and since the current ZYX850 goes PSR. it will fulfil part 1

now ZYX136 goes to AMK. to TPY one cd take ZYX163. but ZYX153 is faster (note that ZYX buses and SBS or TIBS buses are very close matches)

now to Bt timah. thats a bit way far. but at sengkang there is ZYX888 to Bt panjang where u cd take ZYX171 to Bt Timah.or if lower part of Bt timah got the ZYX153

and ZYX888 goes to bt panjang / Choa chu akng but u have to takea bus to SK and transfer onto 888.

meanwhile in punggol :

FROM INTERCHANGE
ZYX62: same as SBS. brings one to NBR not geylang lor 1 . though
ZYX84 to WTC via tampines, Bedok, Marine parade
ZYX163 to TOA PAYH via upp thomson road
ZYX153 to BT MERAH via SK, Hougang, Toa payoh, bt timah road, queensway
ZYX3 to TAMPINEs via pasir ris, tampines
ZYX373 - inter town service, goes by way of the SBSt84's route.
note SBS83 is integrated into ZYX153 in 2002.
ZYX103 to NBR via Jln kayu camp, YCK road, Serangoon road, Chinatown

passing by the interchange
ZYX82 brings one to Shenton way via SK, hg ave 10, Serangoon MRT, Lavender st, lavender MRT, Kakkang ind park, beach road

and that is my ":town paln " for punggol now. notice that we got the city well covered. except rochard road. there are plans for ZYX85 to extend to Punggol new town.

this should take place in 2004 june or so once the population builds up.

ZYX85: PUNGGOL - WTC
via NE line follow , Orchard road, tiong bahru, lower delta road

more services will be added.

Impossible. The "U-Turn" allowed at junction of Simei Road & Simei St 1 is only enough to accommodate a car, no bigger than that.
