Btw, why is service 24 so tua pai? Got 2 berths in AMK Int... 24 and 24A... and also the direction plate of 24A got the route details but other shortworking trips don't have... Why?

If u noticed properly the 4 destinations on the desto of 24 is the same as 24A. Its only the destination on the top of the desto that is different

Yah and there is also (or maybe used to be) another one nearer to Nicoll Highway slip road from Stadium Road.

The only reason I can think is that many commuters take 24 beyond Tanah Merah during 24A's operational hours and therefore dual queues are used for smoother people boarding traffic.

Possibly because more pax take Sv. 24A during off peak hours compared to Sv. 24

An update:

I visited the "Cavenagh Road" car park that SBS9818A mentioned. Yes, there is such a building there, but I have yet to find it any reference to it being used as a bus terminal.

I just found out that, in 1972, service 45 used Kallang Park (currently known as Stadium Boulevard) as a terminal. So that should be the terminal building behind KFC. As for the terminal building at Stadium Road, near slip road to Nicoll Highway, I have no idea yet.

the freq of svc 24 and 24A together used to be 1 min/bus... but less O405s are deployed on 24A.

last time used to be 1 24 and 1 24A about 1-2 mins apart. now about 2-3 24s before 1 24A is deployed. don't know about peak hour deployments though.

if i'm not wrong its 2 24 and 1 24A in the morning peak. or they alternate each other. should be the latter..

Freq at Bedok MRT is 3-5min per bus.

Do you remember the special services which went to National Stadium, when there was a major event, in the 80s/90s? Let's refresh our memories a bit.
Service A - Ang Mo Kio
Service B - Toa Payoh
Service C - Buona Vista
TIBS service NS1 - Woodlands (via Yishun)
This was where buses stop.
A, B and C was discontinued after 1990. NS1 remained until 1995.

Any idea which authority is incharge of bus stops ? Need to highlight that the bus stop 4 at Serangoon MRT station is covered by running water whenver it rains.
Its slippery and pose a risk to old people.

I thought C'wealth Ave Ter was nearer to C'wealth MRT Stn where 195 looped?
