Does anyone know where exactly was the former Alexandra Depot? Found a reference to it while reading an 1985 issue of Busway (SBS’s internal newsletter). BB Depot replaced this depot.

You found Busway at where? NUS? I only found those from 1993 onwards in NLB last time.

Just my guess, maybe Alexandra depot is the former name of current ARBP?

Sounds very plausible, except that it's a few km away from Alexandra Road.

hmmmm...nostalgia..i like Very Happy alexandra depot i heard IS along alexandra road and it used to house them 1xxx rego buses (namely some jumbo buses and the albions) . not sure of the location. recall some old bus peeps going on about its location somehwere near dawson place area.. not sure lah +P

Don't think so. That place is not very large and probably couldn't be a depot.

I remember this depot. This was many, many years ago and I was not even old enough for kindergarten. Many a time when I rode sv. 13, the bus will stop here for fuel before continuing its journey. It’s location was just after the junction of Alexandra Rd/Leng Kee Rd/C’wealth Ave, opposite Princess House. If I’m not mistaken, this was the depot involved in the Hock Lee Bus Riot.

Labodro bus terminal is not the depot too.

I found this on PAP's website that shows an indication of the bus depot's location.

Students were intimidating bus drivers by setting up a convoy of 20 lorries at Alexandra Road Circus

By setting up a convoy at Alexandra Road Circus (Princess Circus), it indicates that the bus depot should be around that vicinity. The 1984 street directory (does not show the depot, though) indicates a large enough blank area opposite Princess House and next to the Circus.

Therefore, we can conclude the depot was located opposite Princess House as what The_Bus_Guide has mentioned and ZYX has concurred.

Yes, it's roughly opposite Dawson's Place and where the current car showrooms are.

Check a street directory for a clearer picture.
