leeJZ SG Good thing Sv 2 survived. Or else Changi residents would have to go bumping on Sv 29's uncomfortable Scania OACs to Tampines coupled with lousy frequency and a longer ride to the city. Sv 9/19/89 are a bit too far (Loyang Ave) for Changi residents to reach. Plus Sv 2 makes quite a lot of $$$ from ferrying the workers at Changi North Ind Estate and the workers widening Upp Changi Rd North to Tanah Merah MRT. Good thing Sv 147 & 107 survived too - us BCP holders would have to use the NEL to get up and down the Northeast corridor if without them.
