swenn SG Hi found a new job at Singapore ROM. sian going to make daily trip to this place on a hill going to wear out my legs. somemore no bus go up the hill right ? no shuttle bus also grr.... Any one is able to make me a simple route? I never been there before, not even close to it I think . I live in the west, going from Boon Lay to there . help me please thanks!!
service_238 SG Bus only: 502 to YMCA bus stop and walk a bit.. 174 to Dhoby Ghaut MRT, cross to Park Mall and walk a bit..
tranquilice SG MRT to City Hall station, use the exit which leads to North Bridge Rd, cross the road and walk straight along Stamford Rd to S11 food court. I guess from there a footpath will leads to ROM, can anyone confirm whether there’s such a footpath?
skeujin SG yes frm S11 walk to the back of the Carpark. theres a 'tunnel' entrance jus follow the tunnel. itll lead u to a flight of stairs. go up the stairs n yr jus opposite the back of YWCA.... proceed downhill to reach ROM
boariggy SG Me and my buddies used to hang around the city hall area , but from City Hall MRT to ROM is quite a distance , but it's the closest mrt station there.
swenn SG Thanks! It is ok I think I can take bus 502 as it start off from boon lay . Is it very close by? I need to go a lot of steps right?
tranquilice SG My advise: Do Not take Express 502. It is basically a "trunk service" charging Express service fare. For a faster and cheaper trip, take the train to City Hall.
leeJZ SG Sv 502 from Boon Lay Int – Orchard Rd (YMCA) will cost you a hefty $2.30…for a pretty slow ride, only skips some bus stops on C’wealth Ave and most of the bus stops on Ulu Pandan Rd & Holland Rd, not very worth it.
tranquilice SG From Boon Lay interchange to bus stop outside Hotel Rendezvous along Bras Basah Rd, the fare is $2.13 by ezlink and $2.20 by cash. Same fare for return trip.
tranquilice SG Do note that concessionary travel (include concession cardholders with valid Bus Concession Pass) is not applicable on all Express services. This includes service 502.
swenn SG ROM is actually nearer to IT Funan Mall than YMCA right? Anyone know from the bus stop at Funan IT MAll got any bus go boon lay ang that are fast ? or I can change buses so the journey will be shorter back to boonlay? 174 so long~~
service_238 SG u can try taking 80 to HBF and change to 30. However the total trip time is more or less the same. Fastest to the west is still the train.
