For the TNC now...
Basically 714 prowls from Jurong East Interchange(JEI) to the
Jurong Island(JI) checkpoint where commuters alight and change to
715 or 716 to get to Seraya or Sakra respectively... and it will be
the other way round when out of JI meaning one takes either 715 or
716 from Seraya or Sakra to the checkpoint and change to 714 back
out to JEI.
However, sometimes, 715 and 716 does go to JEI straight from JI.
Don't know why. They have a schedule for the time when their buses
will pass by the busstops.
I only took this transport once and it is not a good
experience.
I took 716 from Sakra. It came late. Then, upon reaching the
checkpoint, the 714 waiting at the checkpoint just leaves despite
the driver on 716 keep horning him. So waited for around another 30
mins at the checkpoint for 714. It took me almost 1 1/2 hour to get
out of Sakra. Normally on my company bus I only need 30 mins.
I am not sure about the model of the buses, but the were all
freaking old.
For the previous SBST services,
All services, 714, 715 and 716 starts from JEI and brings you to
the respective islands namely, Seraya, Ayer Merbau, and
Sakra.
During off-peak hours, only 1 bus operates and it covers all the
routes of the 3 services. Not sure during the peak hours as I did
not have the chance to take it during peak hours.
Maybe people who worked in JI for a longer period of time can be of
better help.
