FireIce SG yes, both are terrible...... thai express WAS ok until they ambitious, open so many branches, then standard drop liao..... can try Lerk Thai.....
Wanda SG Which outlet did you go to that was terrible? I was at Thai Express at Junction 8 yesterday (public holiday), during non-peak time, and it was not bad for a mid-price range outlet – the seafood was fresh. Think they toned down the chilli padi a lot to suit local taste.
FireIce SG j8 & citylink are the most horrible tt i been to. soggy soft shell crab and calamari (i oni eat these 2 at thai express, plus the tomyan talay) the only outlet tt still "can make it" is assplanade

Wanda SG Heng! I didn't order these 2 items. Tomyam talay was good. Also had the crispy crust fried toufu topped with sweet sauce and peanut, Phad Thai and green chicken curry...all quite tasty...maybe it was off-peak time.

laurence82 SG amazing, i am doing a research on thai express didnt noe here got topic on it went to the paragon one, the phat thai is quite good, but soft shell crab is ok the major complaints was j8 and tiong bahru one
bigshow SG The Holland V & Paragon outlets are ok. Frequent these 2 only. Think that the food is not bad but not fantastic.
