SBS9818A SG I think the monorail service would be discontinued immediately after Sentosa LRT is open.
tranquilice SG From the press release on Sentosa website: "The current monorail on the island which will have served the island for 23 years is scheduled to be dismantled by 2005 to make way for this more efficient and comfortable system."

tranquilice SG The LRT is scheduled to complete by April 2006, while the monorail is scheduled to be dismantled by 2005. If this is true, expect more crowding on internal buses.

tranquilice SG However that's not possible on Sentosa, considering the narrow roads there, esp the winding Siloso Rd.
