Choa Chu Kang Interchange

Currently, CCK int lies @ the center of Choa Chu Kang, which is quite unstrategic if you ask me...Why?

The town of Choa Chu Kang has expanded towards the North & currently, only 2 services serve CCK north-:302&307. CCK north is kind like a countryside which is not so lively partly because it does not have any trunk service except NR3- which is quite useless.

Therefore, I have come to a conclusion that Choa Chu Kang Interchange should be relocated to the open space beside Yew Tee MRT.

Another idea is that NR3 should be converted into a normal Trunk Service.

Yew Tee MRT is enough for Yew Tee ppl to get to many places. However, if they wanna get to places like BTP or CCK itself, they needa go to CCK to transfer bus.

I guess this is the reason why TIBS think that 302 307 is sufficent to cope with Yew Tee.

NR3 is good as a NR service.. if a similiar daytime NR3 service were to be implemented, where would it go?

If they relocated nearby Yew Tee,Then they must also built a new shopping mall and perhaps extend the LRT lines there too!Lot 1 shopping mall tenants will not be very happy about this.

have already suggested this to SBST about my route 134 from AMK (in fantasy routes) except that cutting chort the route to CCK .

CCK North (Yew Tee) will not get new trunk services until more access roads are built, very isolated that area…

Yew Tee is actually not so isolated. Up to Yew Tee MRT stattion, it is quite lively. After Yew Tee Station then can consider isolated.

If a terminal was to be built there, it would be a terminal serving the Yew Tee GRC area: CCK north, Kranji, LCK, Neo Tiew & Sungei Kadut. Also, if there is a terminal to be built there, it would not be built so soon as CCK North is not fully developed.

I still think NR3 or 181M should be converted into a normal trunk service. Would be profitable.

I guess Tibs can introduce 2 trunk loop services to Yew Tee, one from Bt Panjang and the other from Bt Batok. Also, it’s time to re-route service 925 to serve Yew Tee instead of plying KJE and Woodlands Rd before entering Sungei Kadut.

Maybe SBS can introduce a Jurong East - Choa Chu Kang Crescent (Loop) service via Jurong East, Bukit Batok and Choa Chu Kang South?

aiyahz. SBS already has a bus service in CCK. 181M lor.

i feel CCK int is istuated well.
however the northern part of CCCk sure needs links to WDL and other parts of S'pore instead of the MRT.

Actually, it is possible for some CCK services to ply CCK North first before moving on. EG. Service 190

CCK isn’t big enough for TWO interchanges/terminal. It’s quite pointless moving the current one as it’s quite well situated.

I tink cck interchange should put in more buses lah....too little liao....
somemore 185 the service also bo liao.... Crying or Very sad put more routes lah....especially one which travels from cck to clementi road....coz my sch(np) at there... Cool Twisted Evil
