Huh? The route of 198 only meets the route of 98 after the junction of Jurong Town Hall Road and Jurong East Avenue 1. 198 does not go along Boon Lay Way when 98 turns out to after it exits Jurong East Interchange. Mr. Green

Sv. 198 goes along Boon Lay Way, outside Jurong East. I've taken it many times before from C'menti to Jurong East, rather than the winding Sv. 105

Are you mistaken about the service number because I swear that 198 does not hit Boon Lay Way at all except at the last part of its route near Boon Lay Interchange? Which part of Clementi are you referring to?

When it exits AYE, it goes via Jurong Town Hall Road until the junction at Jurong East Ave 1, near Parc Oasis and then it continues until Jurong West Ave 1.

U are thinking of 99 - the only direct bus from Clementi to Jurong East.

This method can be very cheap but can only be used at special times like Sunday mornings and Saturday.It may not be fast but definately cheapest!

Take those free shuttles by CHC (CSS buses) from bus stop at Blk 242 Tampines Ave 4.

45-50 mins later , arrive at Jurong West St 91.

Then take 99 to Jurong East Ctr. (30 mins)

Total time= around 1hr 20 mins. Fares= around $1.30 only.
Limitation= Valid for certain times and days only. Wonder if Indians and Muslim and non-CHC members are allowed to use this "church bus"?

but for those taking O levels next year onwards... prelim can slack already.... JC starts in March while Poly starts in April. Very Happy no 3 months course.... cannot play liaoz.... Laughing
