And service 70 was cut short from Jln Kayu to Yio Chu Kang, by following service 73 route from Yio Chu Kang Rd to the terminal.

And to add on, 73 terminated at Old Upper Thomson Road, along with service 71 (Geylang Lor 1 - Old Upper Thomson) before being amended to terminate at YCK.

Route of 71 is similar to 70, except it plies Geyland Road instead of Guillemard Road.

Besides SLDEP & AMKDEP,Which others depots have MB0405s and Leyland Olympians?

BNDEP has some LO 3 axles for sv 10. ARBP or BBDEP also has a small number of LO 3 axles.

SLBP and AMKDEP are the only depots with Mercedes O405s ( WA / DM / DM CAC )

It's SLBP. ARBP, BBDEP and BNDEP have 3-axle LOs.

ONE DM OAC: SBS 0572 S. It is used as a training bus.
ONE WA OAC: SBS 0210 L. Also a training bus.

Why was Nissan Diesel not used for service in SBST nowadays? Used to ride on svc 13 and 197 in Nissan Diesels... Sad

They were scrapped 2 years ago. I used to see those buses on 13 outside my Bishan window as i knew then that 13 was the only service that goes straight at Bishan Rd/St 11 junction. Very Happy

Nope. I mean the route of 71 is similar (NOT THE SAME) to 70's. I assume if one knows the route of 70, they can deduce the route of 71 from Jalan Kayu junction onwards to Old Upper Thomson Road.

Furthermore, I don't think there's a need to point out obvious spelling mistakes, but thanks anyway.

The Nissan Diesel U31SCN were new in 1986 and first deployed on AIRCON 3. They were taken off passenger service in 1997 and subsequently used as training buses until their retirement at the end of 2003. Only 5 buses (out of 20) had remained by that time.

Service 15 was introduced in 1997 as a Eunos - Pasir Ris bus, which had an arrival interval of approximately 17 minutes.

It was amended to Marine Parade Road sometime in 1998, I believe. This resulted in an increased frequency (it merged with M4 and thus had to have M4's frequency) and Volvo buses were used in addition to the occasional Nissans, which had almost disappeared by then.
