however, if merger really happens, many services will be
withdrawn or amended... eg. 854 which duplicates the route of svc
25 from Bedok all the way to Hougang... and that's 3/4 of svc 25...
another eg is svc 157 & 852... last time it was due to too much
route duplication tt 852 has to be cut short to Bt Batok instead of
Boon Lay as 852 & 157 had the same route from Lornie Rd all the
way to Boon Lay... if the 2 major bus operators were to merge, the
routes may be merged...but svcs 851, 852 & 853 have the same
route in AMK except that 853 turns to AMK Ave 3 after AMK Ave 6...
so another sacrifice.... most probably 852 may be gone instead of
merging.
