In fact loads for Sv. 825 aren't that fantastic, I'm unsuprised SBST aren't interested in taking it up.

It's the only service into those private residential areas. The load is comparable to sv 966 when it comes to school release hours.

Not only that, I hate them also because they removed my favourite services such as 989, 179, 344. AND they do not give good buses to my beloved Intra-Town 307, they only give lousy CAC MB0405. And 20% of their routes are quite circuitious and illogical.And most of all, they took over Choa Chu Kang, why can't they take over some other places like Jurong East???

Services 179 and 344 were removed due to Bt Panjang LRT. Well, it's only 20% compared to SBST which is lot more. You may wish to ask LTA why Tibs took over CCK and not JE. Wink

I took it on its last day of operation (Sat, 26 July 03). I dunno if Tibs purposely increase the frequency, I waited for more than half an hour along Jln Jurong Kechil, the bus had full seating capacity plus passengers standing, to the airport.

Well, when I first moved in CCK in 1999, I thought I had a dream come true. A perfect town with SBS buses, my favourite. I was horrified when they announced the TIBS takeover later that year.

Anyway, the reason for TIBS taking over CCK has probably been explained in the post 'Better Link Coverage'Pg 10.

179 was quite a unique service, it was a service from CCK Int and it went deep into Bt Panjang. It was kins of like a INTER-town service. I hate TIBS for removing my dear 179.
