SBS9818A SG Change of EDS is not linked to ez-link system, the EDS has its own individual controller. Th1988, NOONE will board from MP CC to Parkway as that distance is EASILY covered by foot.
SBS9818A SG I'm sure there are covered pathways. And there are SO MANY other buses with better frequency with 966.
service_238 SG Update of suffix services 156A does not exist anymore. It plied from Sengkang Int to Mt Alvenia Hospital.
th1988 SG Other qns Does anyone know how SBS checks services when there is an complain. Is it by using ez-link system or on site survey?
th1988 SG OK, When there is an RSAF Open House at PLAB. Does SBS have a Special Secheulde of PLAB svs for the 2 days? Also 94 is operated on Sundays when there is an Open House right? Because during the open house, the 2 services are very frequent. Between 3-7 mins.
th1988 SG So buses from other svs will be borrowed like 0405 for 90, MK2 for 94? I remember seeing 3-4 buses waiting to get into berth as the 2 berth at TPY is full. Also, other sp secheulde also applies to service 154 during school holidays right?
th1988 SG During the school holidays, the travelling time between BNL and ENS is 96 mins instead of the usual 120 mins. Also the frequency during PM Peak (To BNL) is 8 mins instead of the usual 4-5 mins.
service_238 SG Revised timesheets would be the case. During the TP open house, 23 and 69 functions as normal.
Superbus SG Yes, nothing was changed. And kept me thinking, where does your friend got that info of Service 23A? What has he got to say, since Service 23A did not materialise after all. Cheers and warm regards
service_238 SG I think what he meant was it ran the route of 23 from TAM to TP but it is NOT 23, but a shuttle service. From now on, any bus info my friend says will be taken as void as his grounding is not convincing enough to convince me of his point. His A-suffix thingys can just go home.. 26A? 506A? wait long long!
SBS9818A SG Depots should have enough spare buses to allocate to these services, no need for services to borrow buses.
service_238 SG I think what th1988 meant was that 90 borrows buses from other services on sundays as these services have spare buses on sundays. As you know lesser buses run in service on sundays right..?
th1988 SG Yes. Also bef July's Open Hse, 90 was totally NAC even on Wkends. Week aft that was the arrangement till now. So they have to borrow ASDs from 8, 155 as there is only 3720L. Don't blame me on writing on 8, it's SBS decision.
th1988 SG Is 154 controlled mainly by HGDEP now? DM3500, MK4 now mainly deployed. Are there any plans for SBS to buy buses? I hope to see weird measurement ADDs like 11m like in HK.
service_238 SG it's partly controlled by HG. the rest of the 154 fleet belongs to Soon Lee. those LO & Merz buses you see on 154 belongs to soon lee.
