Snapping bus Photos,By right Is it legal?

Once saw a guy snapping bus photos @ Ghim Moh Term when one of the route manager furiously shouted "Hey friend,What are you doing?"The poor guy just smiled and swiftly take some more pictures before he ran away Confused Shocked After that the route manager con't to mumbling in hokkien dialects which some of it i don't understand.From that incident,I refrained myself from taking pictures especially at busy interchanges.Any wise comments from wise people??? Wink

I think its mainly because the service providers are downright panaroid. After so many bad publicities, they are afraid to get their name tainted once again. They are also afriad tt people may post it on the net for their own 'uses', or send it to LTA or PTC and lodge some sort of complain. Recently, there had also been a continous threat of terrorism.

It is very possible to take photos without being shouted at. Just use your brains and logic!!!

I don’t see anything wrong in snapping pics of buses. Maybe try not to get the license number into the pic would help.

Honestly i'm asking this because i would like to try 1 day to snap photos too,But unfortunately someone misunderstand me thinking that i want to 'sabotage' him.Really jialat! Twisted Evil

In my view, it is completely legal. I see nothing wrong taking photos of buses in public places, I have seen people taking photos inside buses and MRT trains. One example, those people who take photos of planes at the viewing gallery, do they get chased away? No, because they are taking photos in a public place, and not in a restricted or private area.
