Question !

Airbus330Captain SG

Hey guys I was wondering when BNdepot was short of buses, there were mercedes NAC and Mark 2 buses came in for a while until some services became aircon and the buses were back in their original depots, have this happened in other depots?

In addition,I remember seeing 158 with mark 4 strider, 24 with mark 4 DM and bus 53 with mark 4 DM and scania CAC.

Any other surprises?

There is nothing wrong with Mark 3 just that of the irritating noise and it can’t speed. Also of the braking jerk.

SBS9818A SG

That's already something wrong.

I wonder why SBST buys mk 3s in the first place... for fun? lolz..

or they desperately need buses or they're on a tight budget? who knows man... Razz

SBS9818A SG

They needed buses at the time to replace all the ageing NAC buses like OF1413, B57, etc.

Firstly, i advice some pple to be more mature. Even i do not discriminate against ALL the UK lances.

Hence, not ALL the mk3s and scanias are lousy. Some of the mk3s are categorised into my vocab as wad is known as "mutant" mk3s. Examples include my fave SBS847 on svc 39 and SBS647 on 170. These buses can speed, have strong air conditioning, working Voith gearboxes and no braking choke.

I strongly recommend these 2 buses to those who are in doubt.
