Regarding Montly Concession Passes

If i buy the montly pass at a later date of the month, say Feb 20 , when would the pass expire?

And can someone explain this terms to me?

"It will be valid for use up to the (n-1)th day of the following month when purchase was made on the nth day of the current month."

"The BCP/TCP/HCP will be encoded to start from any specified date up to 7 days in advance. It will be valid for use up to the (n-1)th day of the following month when purchase was made on the nth day of the current month."

You bought it on nth day of February. It will expire on (n-1)th day of March.

If you substitute n = 20, you will get 19th March.

The only think I'm not sure is what happens if you buy the stamp on 31st January, as there is no such date as 30th February.

Let's just say if you buy the pass on 6th Feb, it'll end on 5th Mar. Buy on 19th Mar, end 18th april.

Buy on 31st Jan, end on 28th Feb. (This is my guess).

This is unlike the last time where the stamp is valid for THAT month ONLY. Now it can be used on any day in any month provided u've bought it for one month.

Encoding 7 days in advance means that let's say u encode on 20th Feb, u can let the pass start on 27th Feb at the max. The min encoding is on the day itself. Buy on 20th, starting using on 20th.

That just means you can put in money and use it like a normal farecard. (IE, deduct money everytime you ride a bus).

They just deduct from the money I mentioned earlier. This is treated like a cash card - for paying things like bus fares, food, cinema tickets, donations, etc.
