^tamago^ SG no la... sometimes ppl wan to pick up sth frm little india or sth.. hard to sae.. anyway i tried taking NEL to Sengkang and bus back to AMK.. there was no fare cap.. so it does not apply to NEL as i previously thought.. wonder why they are not encouraging ppl to take the LRT or feeder then NEL and pay only $1.90 when they don't have enough demand...
foxtrot1985 SG The fare cap only works on journeys involving solely SBS Transit buses (non-Express, non-NightRiders). It doesn't work if the journey includes a TIBS bus, CSS bus, LRT ride, MRT ride or NEL ride.

off_service SG It was mentioned that the fare cap is implemented for SBS Transit only and not between SBST and SMRT Corp.

^tamago^ SG I've just confirmed that for the maximum fare cap to work (as for now, or 17th feb '04) you can only enjoy $1.90 fare cap for a trip, which may consist of multiple and unlimited journeys.. the condition for a trip is that: 1. the time difference between boarding of first journey and boarding of last journey must be within two hours 2. the time difference between boarding of subsequent journeys must be between within what is required (not too sure about this cos i have no time to verify it but i'm sure about condition 1) so no whole day fare cap for bus spotters on adult cards..
