PLAB was used to be the International Airport till June/ July 1981.

Then, RSAF and Govt had an agreement, RSAF will get PLIA (Paya Lebar International Airport) in exchange for CGAB. Only then in 1993, PLIA became PLAB.

So Selatar Airport was handed over to Civilian but fade was opposite of PLAB but same as CGAB.

Feasible. Since there's sv 27 from Sengkang to Airport ( 858 from Jln Kayu to Airport ) and sv 161 from Sengkang to Woodlands ( 168, 858 from Jalan Kayu to Woodlands ) and sv 965 to Yishun ( 858 to Yishun )

But of course, a link from Sengkang to Jalan Kayu is lost.

I think the link will be by Senkang LRT west loop, part of the west loop stations are very near to Jln Kayu.

But it's still quite a distance and Sv. 163 doesn't go anywhere near Seletar Camps.

I think the LRT stations are within walking distances, maybe can extend either services 371 or 372 there as Jln Kayu is considered part of Sengkang.
