Kovan services

The new intergrated 321 and 326 rt is a joke. Why serve Hg Ave 6 when it is just a short walk and it is covered by 325? In fact I support 9818 to start it from Sgn as the dist from Sgn to Lor Ah Soo is nearer.

Intergration of 322, 327 is a joke as well, making the rt so long, might as well make it townlink. Serving 327, back to HGN, Hg Ave 10, 3, 8, better than the longer dist from KVN.

Service 325 doesn't ply Hougang Ave 6. Service 113 should just skip Upp Serangoon Rd to Ave 6.

The new services is really eating peoples money by turning them from feeder into trunk AND STOP USING KOVAN for Hougang South, they aint the same, Kovan and Houang South are separated by one road and the name Hougang South has been there for years(It was Hougang Interchange before it changed into Hougang South). Although I normally call it the St 21 int.

The area around the bus interchange is called Kovan Heartland Mall. And the MRT station is called Kovan instead of Hougang South.

I think SBST has the Kovan retailers in mind as they try to connect the feeders to Kovan and hence they integrated them to become inter-town trunk services like Svc 3 38 60

That's true but they could have taken feedback from us route planners right? The new Sv. 101 is quite silly, IMO. It goes exactly by Sv. 328 route, right? I'm confused with so many messy integrations.

Very true, Kovan is actually an area further down Upp S'goon Rd. It was about several years back when they were upgrading the area near the Hougang south interchange, adding new railings, addition of the rain shelter and that well nearby. They erected a map at the watch shop slope there(near the now called Guardian Phar) and called the area Kovan.

dont think Svc 101 will stop at Woodbridge Hospital.. the route details of Svc 101 in the press release did not mention it..

as for Buangkok Crescent, it is to the west of Woodbridge Hospital.. if you are coming from Sengkang East Way (Svc 159 towards TPY) the junction of Buangkok Green and Cres is the one after the junction with Woodbridge Hospital.. the residents there actually quite sad, they have to walk out up to 400 metres (from the furthest) to Buangkok Green to take bus, but they couldn't really complain to PTC cos it's still 400 metres away from nearest bus stop.. imagine when it rains it's worse..!

I remember there is a wet market before the MRT wat built... this area used to be a very busy area (during the 70s ).... the famous 6 mile market (the 6th mile from the start of Serangoon Road).... Why not call it 6 mile station instead and Kovan heartland mall called 6-mile point...

It would sound very odd, like Ten Mile Junction in BP. Kovan sounds more upmarket.

HAHA!! i don't think so... I used to joke with my frd while i m in secondary.... KOVAN sound like "GOU FEN" (dog shit) in chinese hahahha...
