I like the bell on the old TIBS Nissan
Diesel buses. It had a nice soft “toot” sound, like a telephone. I
really hate the long series of ding-dongs. Gives me a headache. A
broken bell can give out very funny noises. The pitch goes up and
down, as if it is drunk.
