Hi…I am thinking of trading in my existing car for a new car.My usage will be frequent trip to K L.So basically i need a more stable car.but my budget is only for japanese car 1.6.presently in mind with mazda 3,mit lancer and subaru.advise will be appreciate.thks in advance for ur precious information.

totally agree. If you wanna ask for me opinion i would definitely recommend you to purchase a honda Jazz, its performance is not bad. Well, technical details i am not so pro in it. What i know , i drive this car for sometime, and its stable. Quite poweful, but not as powerful as alties.. But i think its good enough.

FC is one of the top best, around 13-14km/l ..

nope but just in singapore, but the power is enough la.... but i am very sure the power is lower then alties by little....

but jazz is 1.4 , alties is 1.6, you wan more power means more $ la.... simple as that..

driving to jb only la... the car travel at around 110-120kmh also very stable, unlike those picato or low end car.

If you make a search on honda jazz, the price is rather expensive. You can also check out the back sitting, its much more better then any small car like eg. suzuki swift.. etc.. The back sitting can even be compared with alties really... very spacious..

Except that there is no boots..... hatched back...

There is also airbag, reverse sensor.. etc... not a bad deal actually..

most importantly i am very sure about the fc, i am loving it Mr. Green

PS: i am not a promoter lol, but i just love the performance of the car alot.. its quite sporty look also

If you go to KL often, out of the 3 choices, Mazda3 or Impreza is the one for you. Great comfort and stability on the NS Highway, especially if you wanna go at 140km/h and above. Haven’t tried it on the Impreza before but the Mazda3 was solid. The Focus would be the best if you can up your budget a bit. My fren used to drive the Focus to KL for golfing often and he enjoys it. Now he has switched to a Mazda6 after considering between it and a Civic. I believe you are going for the same criteria as him.

Please leh, if you go to KL often, you'll know that 140km/h on NSH is SLOW lo. Any Kelisa, Wira or lorry will just overtake you. No one sticks faithfully to 100km/h on NSH otherwise you'll take like 5 to 6 hrs to reach KL. TS is a regular up north so I'm pretty sure he understands that. Mazda3 and the Impreza don't have much power to start with in the first place, but they are really fantastic at their handling and stability. Not even my Civic FD will match them.

And btw, no offence to Jazz/Fit owners, a Jazz/Fit is definitely one of the less stable rides to be taken on NSH. It is a good car for city driving and the occasional highway drive, but not for long distance driving.

but driving it is shiok. looking at it also nice. Very Happy

thanks to all that give yours precious advise…more all less i be trading in my altis for the mazda 3 next week.I had just return from K L.Hmmm i think i comfirm 100% have to change it immediately.would not want to risk to K L with my altis again.
