That's all but I believed there is still 1 more item, got to check again.

th1988 SG

Now I saw the website again

As for the CNT New Year Eve party, again same arrangement just that Eu Tong Sen St will be closed and buses will call 174 bus stop along Chin Swee Road and will be diverted to Sth Bridge Road from New Bridge Road.

SBS9818A SG

So buses going towards Hill St will be diverted to Chin Swee Rd, and buses going towards Jln Bukit Merah will go to South Bridge Rd?

th1988 SG

Yes, 80 and 145 will use Kretra Ayer Road, New Bridge Road, Outram Road, Chin Swee Road.

143 - Eu Tong Sen St, Outram Road, Chin Swee Road and normal journey.

NB: To Jurong East will be as normal as other services like 147.

As for Tibs services I may ask Tibs as they don't bother putting it up on the net.

As for 13A, I am repeating it as others may not find it, it is already WITHDRAWN and why are some still talking abt it. It has already been 6 mths already.

tranquilice SG

Why only implement it now? Should have implemented earlier to relieve the high load on service 193. I was one of them affected back in 2001 and 2002 (I have to get to and fro Jurong Camp), every morning peak inside a crowded LO 2-axles or 0405.

off_service SG

They know it's time to do something. See th1988, this will apply to sv 90 too.

SBS9818A SG

SBST are like that.

tranquilice SG

After many complaints. Laughing

tranquilice SG

True.

SBS9818A SG

That’s why I have totally lost faith in SBST. They leave much to be desired, sometimes.

TIB1186Z SG

And thats also why i completely lost faith in TIBS. They leave much to be desired, most of the times. There is a marked and distinct difference between inertia to do something and hitting the delete key on a feedback mail.

What they had done to svc 852 made me doubt their sanity. 14 mins during morning peak on weekdays and 17 mins during non-peak and only 8 minutes freq during morning peak on weekends is not logical at all. Not to mention that 1007H's front door still cannot close properly for more than 3 years liao.......

As well as sending a 12m 0405 only on svc 190 on 8 mins interval without any bendy backup today afternoon......

th1988 SG

I'm not surprised by the poor 190 frequency.

When Tibs took over, there was tons of complaints to Tibs and they said SBS services were better. One reason was that most pax can get a seat on a ADD than on a bendy. Also SBS frequency was 4 mins than 5 mins and using ASDs for Tibs.

I think 190 should be under SBS, at least I do have trust on their loading capacity as it was 100% ADD.

service_238 SG

I personally find TIBS's handling of 190 is much much much worse than SBST. I think its because of the usage of bendies instead of ADDs. Although i've never taken SBST 190 before, i find that SBST had a better job at handling it as I nv witnessed long waiting times or over pax buses on SBST 190.

off_service SG

I preferred Bendies over DD for short distances. For example, service 154 dd lower decks are always full between 10 and 11am to NP. But when I look up, the upper deck sometimes are virtually empty.

th1988 SG

Also I have seldomly seeing standing pax when SBS was operating 190. Now, you have to stand for bloody 15 mins to get to CCK at least, kar sing already!!!

th1988 SG

Got additional info, service 182 enchancement will start wef 19 Jan 2004.

As for sp svs, basic indo, last train leaves OTP at 2:12am.

xin1jun2 SG

good at least 182 now calls at the singapore discovery centre....silly SBS.

finally for the first time i shall get to try 399 for myself...wonder why i never find time to sit 399 on CNY...

service_238 SG

Where do u get the info about the last train timing of LNY Eve other than the exception of visiting the stations yourself?

I took Svc 399 before and i saw its ticket. But then again this was abt 8 years ago when my parents brought me there. Razz

SBS9818A SG

Yes, that is true. TIBS have inherited a cash cow and somehow don't seem to be bothered by it. When Sv. 190 was under SBS there were hardly any queues at CCK Int, as the buses come relatively quickly. Besides it was a full fleet of 2-axle and 3-axle VOs.

th1988 SG

The last train timing was given to me by mistake, I asked Tibs abt the bus diversion but CRC gave me the MRT/ LRT/ Feeder services extension notice.
