Any new bus coming???

After habit(TIBS) and VSO(SBST) , will there be any new bus models in 2004,5,6,7,etc.

TIBS newest bus is the Volgren O405G, since the 12xx Habits were part of a new order, and as such, I term them under the general class of Habits, most of which have lower registrations than the Volgren O405Gs anyway (TIB1178 - TIB1197)

TIBS are buying in new Scanias, possibly L94UBs, and SBST has a Volvo DD demonstrator (probably B9TL or B7TL) parked inside HGDEP waiting to be registered.

Not forgetting the new unregistered CNG Volvo B10BLEs parked inside BBDEP. There's also no information about when they will registered it. Their reply is, "When we needed buses".

Correct. Furthermore there are only 10 parked, not like 10 will make a huge difference anyway.

Not as we know of. If there is a new service it'd be a new topic on its own. So just look out.

I also hope SBS would buy in 10.6m ADDs as not all services are justified to use 12m ADDs like 8 with a relative low demand.

Are the Sentosa Volvo low-floor buses out yet? What model is it anyway? B7BLE? Will it be used on Sentosa island only (with RU registration) or will it ply the shuttle service from Harbourfront Terminal?

They have been out since late Aug. They are B7RLEs. 5 have RU 3718 - 3722 regos, and only one PA 4144Y.

Services like 25, 81, 111 does not justify for 12m ADDs as well!

Sv. 111 does need double-deck. I'm assuming you haven't seen the load during weekends and peak hours. Same for the other two services. STOP GRUMBLING ALREADY WILL YOU?

ZYX111 has since bene integrated with ZYX36 and now ZYX36 runs from ghim moh to airport using L94UBs of ZYX...lolz or soemtimes u get L94UAs

svc 25 and 81's load factor justifies 12m DDs. why shorter double decks......u think what we are HK ah?....

Yes, I agree with SBS9818A and xin1jun2. Many services that are amended to loop at Suntec City (like services 97, 106, 111 and 502) have high loads during peak hours even though their off-peak loads are very low.

As for services 25 and 81, sometimes even double decker buses could not cope with the bursting loads.

Yes. I've seen many a full Sv. 25 double-deck during peak hours. FS, Sv. 502 no longer has any DDs, its now exclusively O405.

Yah, same for Sv. 56, but what do SBST do? DUMP more O405s on it, and the B10TLs go into hibernation.

8's load can be pretty packed especially during the Bedok-Tampines area during peak hours.
25's load is extremely packed during peak hours, definitely warrants double-deckers.
81's load is okay. I think it can do just nice with single decks. I've taken it during peak and off-peak hours before and both cope well with single-deckered buses.
