So what bus do they use?

Anyway, I only remember there are 2 night services - NR (Night RIder) by TIBS and NiteOwl by SBS. There used to be a NightBus by MRT but it has been incorporated into the NR service from 1 July 2003.

As for what types of buses they use, I have only taken a NR service once and that was like when they first introduced the service or something. It was a box O405. I believe they are still using these on top of the occasional Volgren O405. I have never taken a NiteOwl service before but I think they use Mk3s and Mk4s.

There are such services, delon. I suspect various buses may be used as its individual depot-basis. PG/SK/HG would use buses from HGDEP, and SGN/AMK would use AMDEP buses, etc.

I believe most passengers taking buses from town will rather take NR or NiteOwl services.

The special night services only have 1 or 2 trips, just after the arrival of the last train.

It's SLBP. Correct terminology for it is Soon Lee Bus Park. That's what SBST call it themselves.

It's BRaddell AMK Depot. That's how SBST call it.

But many will feel funny as it is HQ and some services are not based at AMK.

Not really if they know the operations. AMK / Bishan services have buses from BRAM, while some BRAM services have buses based in AMKDEP (service 143 for example).

No its not funny and certainly very logical. BRAM is just a bus park, there is only a bus wash and limited repair facilities. It is the biggest bus park of SBST, and so SBST chose to build their main building there.

Some BRAM services, like Sv. 410, have buses parked in AMDEP. Some AMDEP services have buses parked in BRAM.
