Superbuses with NO TV Mobile Installed

last SG · 2003-12-19T14:00:08+00:00

Even from my viewpoint as a passenger it is simply too dark. It's the lighting, or inherent lack of, that makes it dark and uninviting.

Superbus SG

Continuing from "What are the routes of the withdrawn feeders"...

Other than SBS9661J (Service 10 or sometimes Service 31, Jean Yip/Jacelyn Tay ad), is there any other Superbuses which TV Mobile is not installed. Please make the Tridents and the 50 VSOs an exception. Mr. Green

Please list down rego and Service no. Thank you!

Cheers and warm regards

on this topic, im used to having some “noise” in the bus….so when i board buses w/o Tvmobile, I feel kinda weird…have to find own entertainment….....(usually sleep)

All Mk3 Buses with Malaysian Road Tax (i.e All Svc 170 Buses)
some MB0405 buses... I'll check them out soon.
All Scania Buses (Aircon and converted ones)
All Dennis Darts
All Volvo Mk5 Buses (not sure whether really called Mk5 anot) Regos 2800 - 2838. Can someone enlighten me on this bus model? Razz

Let's see.. If all 3-axles were fitted with TV Mobile, about 650 of the 1500 sets are on Double Decks. Smile

off_service SG

VO 3 axles SBS 9670 H also doesn't have TV Mobile. I'm not sure about the range 9666 - 9669.

The "MK5" is acutally a MK4 B10M with DM3500 body. We called it MK4 DM3500.

service_238 SG

I know. That's why i said about 650 units have TV mobile instead of all 670 :p

Adding one more to the list..
Premiere VSO- SBS 9888 Y

EDIT: Sorry, Premiere VSO HAS TV Mobile. The topic was on non-TV Mobile buses

carbikebus SG

pardon me for asking;
are there any Leyland o3ax with tv mobile?

carbikebus too, respect everyone no matter what is their religion, skin, rank, junior, senior or status if given the same respect.
i'm a fighter not a loser.whenever i did mistakes,i apologised.
so long!

off_service SG

I think all the Leyland Olympian 3 axles have TV Mobiles.

Superbus SG

Superbus lah friend...I'm aware of the single-deckers.

But anyway, I agree with you. SBS said only 500 double-deckers will be fitted with the LCD monitors. But since almost all double-deckers we saw is fitted with the LCD monitors, the numbers might be more.

Cheers and warm regards

SBS9818A SG

SBS 9661J
SBS 9669M
SBS 9670H

do not have TVMobile installed. These are the only three I know of.

foxtrot1985 SG

Any idea why these buses do not have TV Mobiles installed? Any special reasons?

SBS9818A SG

Probably because they were placed in service only after TVMobile was introduced.

rancour5 SG

as far as i am aware of. All the VO2ax dunt hv TV mobile installed. Wonder Y?

off_service SG

They only install the TV sets on aircon buses.

rancour5 SG

ohok. thanks for telling mi.

service_238 SG

SBS 9660 L broke down opposite TPY swimming complex. It’s w/o TV Mobile

SBS9818A SG

Hmm, I remember it had TVMobile during its Sv. 502 days?

Airbus330Captain SG

9660 is not an amk or bedok north depot bus , cant be bus 31.

Imperfect SG

I find those without TVmobile better at least will have a nice ride without the disturbance from it... never liked TVmobile at all... waste of money... just like the aircon interchange...

off_service SG

Think it is a sv 153 bus. 9660L is a HGDEP bus.

service_238 SG

AirCon Interchange RULES! The sengkang one suck though... (No offense to those who love the aircon int there) The TPY Int aircon gets a little hot last 2 weeks. Could it be due to the workers didnt clean the filter or did there were too many ppl in the interchange?

VSO rides are the best. No TV Mobile. Good Aircon. Powerful Engine Smile
