Well , personally I think it was a rush-tour especially the time when we wanted to take lots of photos while the 2 ladies , what are their names ?kept rushing us which I felt was totally unnecessary.Overall , I enjoyed the tour , the guys from SBST was nice enough to explain to us including the CNG bus which we saw and the bus driver for driving us around and talking to FS and myself. Hope you guys had fun too . Thanks Hao Rui for organising this bus depot trip. Cheers all !!

xin1jun2 SG yeah it was fun. bit i thought it was cool they showed us how they paint bus ads and the technology involvoed and how they maintian the buses and such. certainly an eye opener for me. IMHO: those two girls dun belong there when we were doing our thin'. too bad we did not sit the LO2x. some of them are still road worthy for example the one we boarded to take pics with...7192 issit? ZYX

Airbus330Captain SG I agree with you about scraping scania ... This bus is a total diaster.Lo 2 axles is so much better. Even the bus Chief Captain driver I talked to dislike the bus .

SBS9818A SG Not as disastrous as B10M Mk III, the worst still has to be B10TLs. Drivers dislike the bus because for one reason, it is too powerful.

SBS9818A SG Really powerful. 1300 Nm of torque we're speaking leh. Ever taken a speeding Scania on Sv. 35 before? Or even Sv. 157 along Lornie Rd? EDIT : Oops, I realised you misconstrued my intentions, I meant the Scanias are too powerful.
Airbus330Captain SG Not only too powerful , the bus is too shakey and too light to handle and the scania braking is terrible. Anyway , Mark 3 is another @### bus .
off_service SG Sorry to tell you this, but all the Scanias I took (no matter SBST or TIBS) had disappoint me utterly, comfort wise. That is why I had the tendency to skip any Scanias that come along if I had time. Of course, had to board reluctantly if the service is a Scania-only service. You may like Scanias for their power, which I totally agree, but it failed terrible to me because their comfort level is terrible.
SBS9818A SG I am sorry but hardly have I taken any Scania which has disappointed me except some OAC Scanias. What are your reasons, comfort-wise? I would love to hear about it and debunk your theories.
off_service SG I am very particular about comfort, the shakiness of the engines, the air conditioning of CAC Scanias of SBST the terrible airconditioning, seats and shakey engines of ELBO L113s and Scania N113s OACs And of course, the jerk from the bus when the driver released the accelerator. You have every reasons to debunk my reasons, as you may not be as particular about comfort as me. Also, you like Scanias, of course you will think my reasons are wrong. And please do not give those scientific and technical things again. We are talking about comfort here.

SBS9818A SG Even so, Scanias of SBST, not the TIBS one, I just dislike them, have the best a/c cooling effect. Don't you ALWAYS complain about buses with poor a/c? Most times I've taken Scanias the a/c is blowing silently with very cool air to boot. Although ride comfort may be bumpy, it is still superior to anything offeed by any Volvo or Merc, and the engine provides a smooth and quiet ride.
