TIBS 106 and 77 run between Bukit Batok interchange and Suntec
Terminal.
So it's not uncommon to have 2 bus services running from same
starting and ending terminals.
Perhaps the bus companies receive bulk discount in terminal
maintenance fees if they have more services terminating at a
particular interchange.
Just a question, how much does TIBS has to pay to maintain a bus
service in a TIBS-operated interchange. Is it free? And how much
does SBST has to pay to maintain a bus service in a TIBS-operated
interchange?
If either are the same, why most TIBS services in Buona Vista
terminates only in Bukit Batok or Choa Chu Kang? Why won't they
explore the needs in extend/amend the routes to other interchanges
like Boon Lay, Kent Ridge, Woolands?
As a resident served mostly by TIBS services, I sincerely urged to
TIBS to have a relook in most of their routes, especially those
taken over from SBST like 75, 77, 106 and 61.
