th1988 SG I think SBS needs to clean up itself in terms of service destinations. Like 3 Sv for TPY - TAM. Service 84: Loading is not high and running along 83 rt Any others?
foxtrot1985 SG 3 services for TAM-BEDOK although they are some sort of inter-town feeder services in some way...
service_238 SG It seems like many people have been seeing 8 28 31 as destination buses instead of where they pass through. Terminating at Toa Payoh & Tampines isnt a bad idea. Moreover 28 & 31 is a long route already, both of them bypassing places like Bartley, Paya Lebar, Geylang Serai, Bendemeer Rd, Old Airport Estate & Marine Parade. 28 connects the following places: Toa Payoh & Bartley Toa Payoh & Upp Paya Lebar Toa Payoh & Geylang Serai Bartley & Geylang Serai Bartley & Bedok Bartley & Tampines Upp Paya Lebar & Bedok Upp Paya Lebar & Tampines Geylang Serai & Tampines East Geylang Serai & Bedok (I know there's 2 7 26 30 for this) Within Tampines 31 connects the following places: Toa Payoh & Bendemeer Toa Payoh & Kallang Toa Payoh & Old Airport Estate Toa Payoh & Tg Katong Toa Payoh & Marine Parade Bendemeer & Kallang Bendemeer & Old Airport Estate Bendemeer & Tg Katong Bendemeer & Marine Parade Bendemeer & Bedok Kallang & Old Airport Estate Kallang & Tg Katong Kallang & Marine Parade Kallang & Bedok Old Airport Estate & Marine Parade Old Airport Estate & Bedok Old Airport Estate & Tampines Tg Katong & Bedok Tg Katong & Tampines Marine Parade & Bedok Marine Parade & Tampines It'd be possible if Svc 8 could be extended, but does the demand requires it to? For the moment, I don't think so. If Svc 8 were to terminate at Bishan by bypassing TPY Int, it'd bring alot of inconvenience to people at TPY Central going towards Bedok Reservoir & Ubi. Hence, I'd prefer Svc 8 to stay as it is.
carbikebus SG Wahlao,If Like That Might As Well Makes 25 Or 26 Terminate At Eunos To Help Reduced Congested At Bedok.Wonder What Would Happens To 51 & 151 After Hougang Sth Close Down?? Hee..Hee,Just Joking Brother!

foxtrot1985 SG The point is how many passengers take the bus from TPY to Bedok Reservoir & Ubi? I personally think more passengers would benefit by extending 8 to Bishan.
th1988 SG I agree too Service 8 have low demand, the high demand (Full seat capacity) are actually caused by the NAC sv provided by 90. Many shy taking 90 as it is NAC, but what if 8 is extended to Bishan and leaving only 90? When I was at the Int, I took 90 but others take 8 which leaves 2 mins later and they stop at POSBank. Also Ubi is also served by 22, 28, 65, 66. So 8 is like duplicating with other routes. To Bedok Reservior Road, you may take 506 if you have the $ to do so.
tranquilice SG SBST mentioned before that service 84 is a temporary service, it will be replaced by another service that ply Sengkang East Drive/Punggol East flyover (ie. service 62). But we don't know how soon it will be. There are also 3 services between Bedok and Clementi (ie. services 7, 14, 196), and another 3 services between Bedok and Jurong East (ie. services 66, 197, 506).
SBS9818A SG Sv. 84 will be withdrawn probably early next year. Sv. 3, Sv. 136 and Sv. 62 are sufficient enough to cope with demand for Sv. 84, which isn't a lot anyway.
