They might as well just reintroduce Sv. 185 in replacement for Sv. 985A. TIBS are full of rubbish.

Tibs may eventually amend or scrap service 985 and reinstate service 185 in another service number.

Actually, where do you think sv 985 can be deployed to instead of Geylang Lor 1 Terminal? I was thinking maybe it could be terminated at Pasir Ris or Changi Village instead of Geylang Lor 1. Heck, it could even be extended to ply around the city area like Suntec City or Shenton Way. Well, this is just my opnion. Well, what do u think?

Maybe not, since CCK residents can take 190 to city, but for Bt. Batok residents, i don't know if there are ppl who want to take tt bus to the city...

Sv. 985 should just return to the airport. Loads after Bukit Batok aren't that fantastic. I've seen empty Hino HS3KRKAs and O405s cruising down the PIE.

I suppose that these are just measures by TIBS to ‘survey’ the load of Sv 985. If let say Sv 985A is rather popular, I suppose that they would run 985A more often than 985.

maybe svc. 985 should be extended to marine parade(parkway parade) via old airport rd, mountbatten rd, east coast rd, marine parade rd ( terminating at pp like svc. 966).

maybe eunos interchange cause in 2 years time there will be quite a numbers of new housing flats will be built there and eunos will introduced a new feeder service for that area.

You mean the replacement flats for Geylang Serai residents? That is barely 5 minutes walk from the interchange/MRT station. There's no need for a new feeder.

I Had A SBST Traffic Manager Friend At Eunos And Confirms In 2 Year Time There Will Be A New Feeder Service When The Flats & Roads(Near The Expressway)Is Fully Competed.Futhermore,Just Look At Service 284 Clementi Ave 4(3 b-stops Only)By Right If SBST Want To Withdrawn 284 It's Very Easy,B'cause Svs 282 Can Loop At The End Of Ave 4 And Ply To Ave 5 Back.Got A Friends Too Staying At Blk 318(Mind You,A B-Stop only)Still Everyday Take This Service,And It Just 4-6 Mins Walk To The Mrt/Interchange.So B'fore We Comments Anything,We Must Think And Looks Futher Up.I Know You Just See Eunos Development Now Is Quite Small For A Feeder Svs,But Remember,The Planning Map Stated Is More Than 8 Flats Is To Be Built After Slowly The Old Industrial Factory Is To Be Demolished.The New Flats & Roads Will Streched Till The End Of Eunos Near The Expressway!.I DARE To Say This B'cause In Future,I Will Be Staying There With My Daughter And Wife.

It's possible (I have thought of it too), just like the former service 350 which turns in to serve NTUC resort. It's also possible that services 284 and 285 integrate to become a Townlink service.
