i sat it at around 6pm towards hougang central from suntec
city.. the load wasn't fantastic between suntec and lavender MRT,
and s'goon and hougang central (this is probably due to the route
being too new).. but between lavender MRT and s'goon it's ideal..
my ideal means at least 11 people were on board for most of the
stretch.. tat, according to a report on costs of maintaining a bus
service many yrs ago on ST, says , as a benchmark, Mercedes O405
use a litre of diesel for 2km and most impt-ly, they need on the
average 11 people using a bus for it to be profitable..
as for the VO that i saw travelling in the opposite direction at
that time, it seems veri empty, probably because it jus left
Lavender St on its way to Jln Sultan and suntec city..
