PAC SV: PAC means must have at least 1 AC bus during entire operation unlike SV 90.

This means many have been misleaded that PAC means PAC during peak hours only. This is not true, as PAC is a promise made by SBS i.e 90 to be PAC, it means it must be PAC 0600-2300 Monday - Sundays with at LEAST ONE AC bus.

It is still partial air-con what. The claim still makes sense, since Sv. 90 gets full a/c fleet on weekends.

YOU GET IT OR NOT!

PAC services have to have AC buses daily 18 hrs peak or off peak on SV 90! This is a PTC regulation!

FAC fleet on Sunday is up to them, but PAC standards have to be met if 90 is in for the yearly PTC audit.

So? Still PAC what? Got 3720L which is A/C what. So it more than fulfills the regulations.

Rules are rules, it's dead but humans are alive. We are flexible. Actually if you tell us the problem about services 8 and 90, we can't do much also as many of us seldom take service 90 and thus don't really know the situation. What I suggest is that you can contact SBST or PTC and leave them to deal with it.

Also, SBST may have their reasons for doing so, before that getting special concession from PTC.

I reckoned that there's excess Scanias based on BRAM that are NOT fitted with aircon. Moreover all services based in BRAM are fully-aircon with the exception of Svc 90.

I guess SBST did not want to fit aircon units on these Scanias might be because they're slightly older than those that are fitted with aircon units.

I took Svc 90 from Jln Toa Payoh towards TPY at 1850 hrs. Loading was near to full seating capacity (No one was standing)

Correct, Sv. 90 can cope with loads. 2-axle LOs were a little too excess in my opinion.

Not always, sometimes when buses come 10 mins later, service 90 would get overloading trips from Macpherson Road to Lor 6.

In fact, in those days when 8 was less frequent, LO 2x sometimes have over loading demand otherswise it is full seating capacity meaning 83 pax.

They make Sv. 8 frequency better so to cope with the load. Since you have a choice you should take Sv. 8 instead of grumbling all the time.
