tranquilice SG Scania buses are now being deployed on service 70 (CAC) and service 107 (NAC), and occasionally on service 157 (CAC). From which depots do these buses come from? Are majority of them based in Braddell depot?
off_service SG Actually the Scanias are permanent buses on service 157 as well. These buses were originally from Bedok North Depot and transferred to Braddell and Ang Mo Kio Depot to replace the LO 2 axles. Majority of them are based in Braddell Depot.
SBS9816E SG Actually, there’re a few Sv 157 CAC Scania are from Ang Mo Kio Depot. This would really depends on how Ang Mo Kio Depot and Braddell Depot would like to switch their buses.
SBS9818A SG Yes, buses from BRAM and AMDEP are totally interchangeable. For instance Sv. 88 buses are "based" at BRAM but most likely they park at AMDEP.
Superbus SG Lots and lots of Volvos. I noticed Service 69 gets most of these buses, which were transferred from HGDEP. Those transferred includes Volvo 3-axles and the MK3s. Cheers and warm regards
SBS9818A SG Yes, BNDEP gets excess 3-axle VOs and B10M Mk IIIs from HGDEP. Sv. 87 has reverted back to HGDEP control so no more Scanias
tranquilice SG What I actually mean is: Does Bedok North depot get any buses from Braddell and/or Ang Mo Kio depots when Bedok North depot transferred their Scania buses to the 2 depots?
off_service SG They got a few 96xx VOs from AMKDEP after the arrival of VSOs. Some of them are: SBS 9631 X SBS 9666 X SBS 9667 T SBS 9668 R I think some of the 280x MK4 DM3500s are transferred to BNDEP. Am I right in this? Kind delete duplicated posts. Thanks.
SBS9818A SG Yes, 9666X – 9668P were transferred from AMDEP to BNDEP. Can’t remember which service they were originally on.
Airbus330Captain SG Love the VOs , comfortable and good to sleep on . If only there is no speed limit on some of these buses especially the VSOs.
