maybe tibs can ploy a bus route from sembawang rd end to marine parade road .any comments or suggestions?

The parking lots at Sembawang Rd End terminal is only enough for one service (ie. 167). I don't think Tibs has any plan before the bus interchange at Sembawang is build.

Maybe you can ask Tibs whether service 853 can terminate at Upper East Coast terminal on all days instead of the current Sundays and public holidays.

Yes, for Sv. 853 to terminate at Upp East Coast daily is much better, at least Sv. 13 would have some company.

Tibs might have a reason for not letting sv 853 to Marine Parade on weekdays and Sat. Perhaps they want passengers to go Bedok to take sv 854?

No difference what. It's not like they don't want passengers to take their competitor's service. They are ALL TIBS services.

i think is bec the demand to east coast road terminal on weekays is not very high.but tibs is making a profit as they have so many routes .so i think they should extend 853 to east coast rd terminal on weekdays.

Demand to areas after Marine Parade (ie. Bedok South Ave 1 and Upper East Coast Rd) is not high even on Sundays and Public Holidays. But in order not to inconvenience Marine Parade and Tanjong Katong passengers, service 853 can, on weekdays and Saturdays, instead of terminating at Upper East Coast terminal, why not loop at Siglap Rd like the rest of the Marine Parade services.

Yes, Siglap Rd is another possible looping point. Maybe even under-utilized Eunos via Still Rd.
