Suggested Major revamp for bus services

Since tibs has only bendy buses and SBST double-deckers to serve higher capacity routes, why not split the routes according to the individual route situation instead of terrority?

For example, service 96 and 156 could not deploy double-deckers due to height restriction. So why not both companies exchange the route operations? Maybe SBST can operate services 190,851,960 using double-deckers instead???

Interesting and rather innovative idea, but TIBS would definitely not give up 190,851 or 960 for anything, those routes are very huge moneytrees that they shake everyday and earn like crazy.

156 may not be bendy-able either - I dont know if Sixth Ave or the U-Turn at Bt Timah Road is bendy-friendly.

I think SBST is not using double-deckers for svc 170 due to custom clearance and security check issues at Johor checkpoint, because double-deckers are more difficult to inspect for security???

maybe SBST can consider exchanging svc 170 with the profitable tibs services, so that svc 170 can use bendy???

I think that the height at JB checkpoint is not enough for a double deckers to pass thru.

No, for Tibs buses to enter Malaysia, Tibs has to get permission from the Malaysian authorities. Beside, there's already a Malaysian operated Causeway Link services to compete with SBST service 170.

Sv. 985 is the biggest flop of all the routes TIBS have. At least with Sv. 989 there were passengers.
