Superbus on Service 60

Superbus SG

Now Service 60 has Superbuses. At least 2 VO 3-axle buses, namely SBS9231 and SBS9604 have been sighted this morning by our fellow member.

I can expect a couple of Superbuses to be deployed on the soon-to-be amended Service 3 as well as Services 19 and 38, based on this latest development.

Of the last three services, only Sv. 3 is likely to get double-decks as possibly it could be controlled by HGDEP. Currently, the new double-deck-operating services (Sv. 9, Sv. 89, Sv. 60) are all controlled by HGDEP.

All except Townlink 291. I have seen a few more, possibly ex-HGDEP VO 3-axles, on Services 10 & 69 as recent as last week.

SBS 9604 A is a BBDep bus, how come it is at Service 60. Don't tell me that it has been transfer to BNdep or HGdep.

Confused Mistaken I may be, but I think 9604A is a Service 14 bus. The one with the 1900-Chatline ad right?

I spotted another one at around 6.15pm at Jln Eunos, SBS9504E. Loads do justify a Superbus.

OK, was the desto a la Sv. 136, Sv. 70, and the Jurong Industrial services, with only the number in big bold characters or was it Eunos 60 Bedok?

Yes, Sv. 60 does warrant a double-deck, wonder how it manouvers along Bedok Reservoir Rd (the one-way portion). Will have to take Sv. 89 and Sv. 60 Superbuses soon.

One more thing, Service 179 used to have large bold desto on it superbus front plate, but I have notice that most of it are using the new desto like the service 80 with new font format

The desto was "Eunos 60 Bedok", in large fonts. The Superbus should have no problem along Bedok Reservoir Road section you mentioned. Compared to Changi Coast Road, this stretch of Bedok Reservoir Road is wider.
