I don't think "Punggol North" being mentioned in the news refer
to the place where service 82 terminates (That's called Punggol
Point). I have no idea where service 136 is extended to.
I think the new feeder service is to cover service 83 route in
Punggol, while service 83 may be withdrawn.
A trunk service is proposed to serve Punggol - Tampines via Pasir
Ris. However the service can be replaced by service 39 when Punggol
Way is completed.
LTA is currently building a new tempoary interchange beside Punggol
MRT station, the new services will use it when completed.
