How about Geyland lorong 1 ?

I feel LTA can build a bus interchange just beside Leisure Park at Kallang . There are ample space there and besides I remember there is an interchange there , the Tibs buses can make use of that lot after the completion of the circle line . Bus 11 can be withdrawn by then .

How about admirity road west ?

Can't 980 be extended to another terminal ? I am not sure about this one .

What do you guys think ?

Eunos seems pretty of no use. might as well extend the buses to upp east coast er or bedok int (i hear some bus drivers complaining :X)

1. Extending service 980 to Marina Centre seems to be a little weird.. From Lor 1 Geylang to Marina Centre?! Might as well extend the bus, together with 853 to Upp East Coast via East Coast Park.

2. Quite a number of people board buses from EUnos Interchange. Also, if long journey services like 61 and 154 are extended to Bedok / Upp East Coast, you tiring the driver out. The fare stages can go up as high as 50.

The name "Lorong 1 Geylang terminal" is a bit weird. In my opinion, the terminal should be renamed "Kallang terminal" as it is opposite Kallang MRT station.

I don't think there's the need of having an interchange or terminal beside Leisure Park currently, maybe after Boulevard station opened in 2007, then we will see whether there's the need.

Service 11 will be there to stay, to maintain the link between Kallang MRT station (East-West line) and Boulevard station (Circle line), you can't expect yourself to take the MRT and transfer at Paya Lebar station, right?

Service 980 can be extended to Sembawang Rd End terminal provided there's more parking lots.

Bedok interchange can't afford anymore services, all its bording berths are used up.

SBST has mentioned that Hougang South interchange will be closed after NEL starts.

Also, Tuas terminal and Upper East Coast terminal are examples of low demand terminals, they shouldn't be bulit in the first place.

Sembawang Road End Terminal will be closed down. Also, service 980 should not be amended to end at Sembawang Road End as many workers reply on service 980 to get to Senoko / Sembawang Shipyard in the morning peak, besides service 856 and 981.

Punggol Road End Terminal could possibly be shifted to the new Punggol Interchange, next to Punggol MRT station, and a feeder service implemented to serve residents at Punggol Ave 17 and 24, with intervals of 30 mins and one bus, like Sv. 354, it does seem possible.

Only service 103, 378 and 379 operates there. Perhaps they will be extended to Punggol?

Widen the roads of Jalan Kayu, the bus can turn easier.

It would be tough, as Sv. 378 and Sv. 379 mainly serve the workers and army personnel in Seletar Camp. Furthermore the frequency is very bad, every 30 minutes or so, and there is only one bus for the two services I believe, so with the extension they would need 3 buses, not too good from revenue standpoint.

Tuas terminal ? Which services goes there ? Jalan Kayu terminal is needed for the camp . Perhaps they can add another direct service from jalan kayu to orchard perhaps ?

Tuas Terminal has Sv. 192 and Sv. 193, it is supposedly from Boon Lay to Tuas however the buses loop at Boon Lay. They might as well make it the other way around.

Boon Lay Interchange deserves an expansion, the grass field next to it is a prime candidate for expansion, the current terminal is short of parking lots.

Yes Darryl you are right,

Boon Lay Interchange always jam up with buses during peak hours.
I think they should either expand the interchange or some bus service transfer to Jurong East Interchange.

Apparently some Jurong East services were transferred to Boon Lay, I would not expect these services to be moved back, not that Jurong East has the capacity anyway.

Not possible in my opinion, the Punggol Rd End terminal may be shifted next to Punggol MRT station only after the Punggol LRT started next year. Then there will not be a need for a feeder service to serve the residents at 17th and 24th Ave, since that area will be served by the LRT.

Yishun. A new feeder service from Yishun, Sv. 817 will be introduced and loops at Sembawang Rd End, this is the same situation for Sv. 82 as well.

Sv. 175 is an exception. It "supposedly" terminates at Lim Chu Kang, but it actually gets its drivers from Choa Chu Kang Interchange. The route should be amended so buses park at CCK instead of Lim Chu Kang, however following the same route. The route will call at CCK Interchange in both directions but at different boarding berths.

Sengkang Interchange is worser than that. Some services such as 501 and 502 have to park at the former interchange.
