3 NR services to operate daily

From 1 July 2003, NR services NR1, NR5 and NR7 will operate daily.

Sundays to Thursdays (11.30PM - 3.30AM, 1 directional)

NR1 - Marina Centre Terminal to Woodlands Road

NR1 will be extended to ply:

Yishun Ave 5
Sembawang Road
Canberra Road
Admiralty Drive
Woodlands Ave 7,6,5,4
Marsiling Drive, Road
Woodlands Road

NR5, NR7

*NR5 - Marina Centre to Jurong West

The route of NR7 remains unchanged.

Fridays, Saturdays and Eves of Public Holiday (11.30PM - 4.30AM, 2 directional)

All NR services will operate as usual.

*NR1 will ply between Yishun Interchange and Suntec City.

*NR8 will ply between Marina Centre and Bukit Batok.

SMRT SN services

SN10, SN20 and SN30 have been re-branded as NightRider services.

The info on Tibs website (doc format) wrote that NR5 will operate from Marina Centre instead of St. Michael's, and NR8 from Marina Centre to Bukit Batok instead of Bedok to Bukit Batok. Is this a mistake?

Previously there's 89M too. But I think it has been withdrawn.

NR2 will skip the following bus stops:

Blk 328 (Sembawang Dr)
Opp Sun Plaza (Sembawang Dr)
Bet. Bll 357 and 359 (Admiralty Drive)
Sembawang Sec Sch

Instead, NR2 will serve the following roads:

Canberra Road
Sembawang Drive (current 962 route towards Woodlands from Riverside Sec)

I believe they will withdraw the night services on weekdays once they find it not feasible, like what they did when they launched too many NR routes at one shot and withdraw lots of them within 2 months.

With the amendment to Marina Centre, NR5 will not serve Shaw Plaza along Balestier Rd and St. Michael's Estate. Passengers who board and alight at these affected areas will find it inconvenient.

And the route of NR8 between Bedok and the city area will be skipped, so, any alternative service?

Previously there was NiteOwl 16M. Perhaps with this rationalising exercise we might see NiteOwl services covering the routes affected by the amended NR services.

The route of NR8 between city area and Bedok will be replaced by NR7. NR7 will no longer plys Marine Parade and Upper East Coast.
