I hate it when they withdrew 290 and integrate with 220 to form 38. PUI. Better service?! now i have to walk 10 minutes to take feeder bus to tampines

Service 1 - Changi Village > Delta Terminal, sub withdrawn
Service 8 - Bedok > Marina Centre via ECP/Robinson Road, sub withdrawn. Reintroduced as Tampines > Toa Payoh

I don't remember Service 8 to Pasir Ris. The reintroduced route plied near my school and I'm sure I don't get this wrong.

Service 1 plied between Somapah and Delta terminals.

Service 8 used to ply between Pasir Ris and Toa Payoh Interchanges, the deleted sectors are Tampines Ave 7, Loyang Ave, Pasir Ris Dr 1, Dr 4 and Dr 3. It was amended to Tampines Interchange with the introduction of service 17.

Ok, I stand corrected abt Service 8, but Service 1 do plied Changi Village to Delta. I still remember my rides with Service 1 will have a refuelling stop at Somapah before heading to Changi Village. I once lived at Upper Changi Road North near Changi Prison's entrance.

Hmm, who is correct? If service 1 terminates at Changi Village, does it follows the exact route of service 2 to Somapah? (If this is the case, then there's a long duplication of route)

I don't know when Svc 133A was introduced, but I could remember that it was actually renumbered to Svc 133 around 1989 or 1990. It was service 133 that was withdrawn.

Now it seems to have been replaced entirely by a similarly-numbered service, Sv. 88!

Yes, but the routes of both services are different.

Initally was 133 ply between Ang Mo Kio to Marina Centre via Lor Chuan/CTE.
133A was introduced to ply between Ang Mo Kio and Marina Centre via Boundary Road, Serangoon Ave 2 and Upper Serangoon Road when Serangoon area started to developed.

Service 133 (via Lor Chuan/CTE) was later withdrawn and service 133A (via Serangoon Ave 2) was renumbered 133.

Service 857 has always been with Tibs. Introduced again on 14 Jan 2001 as service from Yishun to Suntec City, after being withdrawn in 1996 (10 Apr?) after merging with service 169. It was then operating between Yishun and Adm Rd West Ter.

Service 179 Choa Chu Kang to Fajar Rd (withdrawn in Dec 1999 when Bukit Panjang LRT started), re-introduced in Jan 2001 to ply from Boon Lay to NTU.

I think there's an earlier version of the service before its introduction in Choa Chu Kang/Bukit Panjang.
