Hmmm , bus 8 has VSO for only 1 day , quite strange .

It seems that TIBS is also shuffling buses madly at this time. These few days, at least a few Dennis Lance 245s like TIB 940 are found on 969 after the introduction of VSOs on 168. Do u consider that an improvement to the bus fleet, apart that they are "low-floor", to try to compete with VSOs on 168.

At the same time, most of the Dennis Lance 245s on 852 had disappeared suddenly, so I guess its probably to other services, and some Lance 211s that were formerly on 980 and 169 like TIB 1014 are back on 852 Sad

The trunk services seem at Yishun seems to be taking turns in deploying Nissan U31s. Firstly, TIB 374 was seen on 851, another U31 on 852 the next day, Today a U31 TIB 365 reappeared on 855.

However, it seems that more Volgren Bendys are deployed on 969 during morning peak, and I also saw one of those on 859 on Tuesday morning at Yishun. Is the sudden shuffle due to the sudden deployment of all the 49 VSOs or what? Confused

this is to be expected as sbst needs to move buses around due to the new VSOS and the leyland oly 2x going out. at any rate one thing that is not clear is why the VSOs are being shuffled and shuffled and shuffled aorund.

definately all the VO 2 x will be ending up at Boon lay (soon lee depot).

Well, it is normal to see all sorts of buses on all sorets of routes. Unless drivers were assigned certain shifts, and the same bus. ie. the smaller operations. But it is not unusual to see buses on all sorts of routes.

Tibs does it big time. They always shuffle buses around, especially for Bendy Buses. Look out for HUGE changes compared to weekdays on Sat and Sun/PH.

I agree with you fully, since I stay in a TIBS controlled area. Well, I think the most well known shuffle is that plenty of the Older Hispano Bendys ( TIB 8XX ) are deployed on service 857 on sundays and ph. Anyone have an idea where these come from? My guess is that they came mainly from service 964, especially that one with the Energizer ad had appeared many times. The pinninfarinas are mainly deployed to 857 in 1s or 2s on Saturdays or eves of ph.

Moreover, some of the Dennis Lance 211s on 852 are transferred to Service 854 on weekends.

For the feeder services in Yishun, the Bendys on service 806 on Sundays and ph- TIB 1160Y TIB 1163 P TIB 1164L TIB 1176Z are normally found serving 800 and 812 on Sundays.

Anyone knows of more shuffles in the TIBS fleet in the North zone?

Talking about shuffling , noticed quite a few Lance 245 on bus 969 and 854 today .

I guess 9144 and 9030 are perm on bus 21 but the good thing is 9844 could be perm on bus 21 . I have been seening 9844Z on bus 21 for almost a week .

Normally, service 859 would get different Bendy buses that it will usually get, occasionally MB O405G or the newer Habit buses (TIB 12xx, I saw TIB 1230 D this past Sun on 859, and TIB 1233 X weeks ago).

On Sat, service 962 will get three Bendy buses from service 963, namely TIB 1225, TIB 1227 and TIB 1229. On 27 Apr 2003 (Sunday), TIB 1062 Y, TIB 1064 S, TIB 1068 G, TIB 1070 Z and TIB 1130 J was deployed on service 962 along with TIB 726.

Service 980 would get more Bendy Buses on sundays/PH (around 3), mostly from Yishun services.

Service 969 would get more Volgren Bendy on Sat/Sun/PH.

I think service 187 would also get more Bendys.

27/4/2003: TIB 593 M, a svc 962 bus, was seen operating on Rapid bus >>700A.

Commonly during weekends and PH, svc 962 and 963 will lose most of their Habits, and shuffled into various services in Woodlands, such as 960 and some feeder services.

For 184, some of the buses will also be randomly hop over to many other services in Woodlands and Yishun (1165-70, 1193-5).

I think it's a move to load balance the services on weekends.

this one is on the aftermath of 291 losing its VOs and 222 losing its VO2xs.

i've been starting to ahng around bedok and tampines nowadays. i have noticed soemthing.

the VOs on svc 222 have been replaced by some scania OACs namely 72, 78 , 79 , 80

The VOs on 291 have been replaced by serveal toa payoh scania feeder buses. noticibaly 3674 from former 28.

even 293 has changed somehwat. i did not see the normal 3618 or 3633 3634 3631 or even the 3587 3582s. they have been replaced by more toa payoh fedder buses like 3659 and 3654 that used to serve 231.

i wonder what happened to 231. got more merc?

just recently observed that some ex-293 buses have gone to svc 19. thne svc 19 some oAC scania go to svc 222.

More NAC Scania are being deployed on service 19, on average is 1 air-con bus to every 3 NAC bus.

Btw the mark 2 on bus 19 and 3 has disappeared , i wonder where they went to . The scania buses replaced them .
