SBS9819Y SG Dunno, but I do know that the upper saloon height of the Trident is lower than the other Superbuses. Always knock my head on a Trident but never on other Superbuses.
SBS9818A SG When Sv. 105 used to ply Bishan MRT, like present-day Sv. 156, it had double-decks(Atlantean). I presume that once Sv. 156 was launched Sv. 105 was amended to prevent duplication.
SBS9816E SG Darryl, when 105 was changed to serve Toa Payoh, Svc 104 (S'goon to New Bridge Road) was slated to serve Bishan. Due to some factor, it was somehow renumbered to 156 and extended to Clementi.
oliver_yuen87 SG I remembered 124 changed its route also.. it used to go by Whitley. to Toa Payoh?[/list]
oliver_yuen87 SG Superbus will be too "big" since 156 is fully a/c, unless they convert back to partial s/c
SBS9818A SG Oliver, how many times must I tell you Sv. 156 CANNOT have DD buses? Sv. 104 had DD buses as it went to New Bridge Road, and not Clementi(via Sixth Avenue)! Read today’s Streats under the “Vocal” section.
SBS9818A SG Atlanteans are shorter and presumably lower. Even O305s are still shorter than 3-axle aircon double-decks.
SBS9819Y SG Long long time ago. There's a photo of a service 104 Alexander L-type Atlantean in the Singapore Bus Advertising Handbook. Photo was taken at Newton Circus.
