Smiley Volgren SG If i was late, i would take a MRT train! However, there is no train connecting from the north to north-east...
Superbus SG But you can take 965 right? I think it will be hell lot faster than an MRT, and the possibility of an MRT Line connecting NEL to NSL is very slim now. Cheers and warm regards
tranquilice SG The Circle line will connect the Bishan (NSL) & Serangoon (NEL) stations in around 2008.
FireIce SG depends on where i going and whether they will tweak the existing service routes if to north or east area then i stick to bus.... if going to town or west side then mrt shd be more convenient and faster oso......
doghouse837 SG i think i will take MRT if i am tired and want to go home fast but if u had alot of time, i still will take bus more chances to see gers mah haha cause i just live behind the hougang central interchange, so bus or mrt both can for me loh haha so happy that my parents choose this place, so good so when its going to open??
Smiley Volgren SG I agree with you. It depends on the time intervals of Svc 965 and the routes connecting to the north must be improved as well.... Yup Circle Line has began now. As for Serangoon connecting to Bishan, i wonder what will happen to Svc 156 if the train station is opened in a few years time? Perhaps Svc 156 might be withdrawn?
tranquilice SG I think Svc 156 may be amended but not withdrawn. I predicts that those services which will be directly affected by the circle line are 24, 28, 70, 93, 165, 855 etc.
SBS9818A SG Sv. 156 will unlikely be withdrawn as it serves schools in Bukit Timah area. It would be shortened to Bishan in my opinion to prevent duplication once Circle Line opens.
